The STM motor ensures a quiet autofocus experience with minimal focus breathing, another crucial benefit for videographers. Formatted for cameras with APS-C-size sensors, the 35mm full-frame equivalence is appropriate for street photography, travel, indoor architecture, and wider scenes.
