The VA-5X Fluid Video Head with Side-Loading Plate from Sirui uses a fluid system to produce smooth pans and tilts for DSLRs and compact video cameras weighing up to 6.6 lb. It features a side-loading quick release plate with a safety pin that is secured by a large, adjustable tension lever. The VA-5X has independent pan and tilt locks, a detachable pan handle that can be used on either side of the head, two bubble levels, and durable aluminum alloy construction. A side-loading plate system enables you to mount your camera weighing up to 6.6 lb with a single hand. This quick release system incorporates a large lever to lock the safety pin that secures the camera plate. The tightness of the lever lock can be adjusted using the included Allen key.
